We only use Atlantic salmon in Jinx’s fish based dog food, as it’s more nutritious, more sustainable, and healthier overall. Atlantic salmon are often raised in controlled conditions — meaning they’re not as exposed to pollutants and contaminants as wild or Pacific salmon. Atlantic salmon also contain more Omega-3 fatty acids than wild salmon — which is extremely beneficial for your dog’s skin, coat, and overall cognitive health.

Jinx’s salmon dry dog food is packed with premium proteins and superfoods to help your pup thrive — providing balanced nutrition, and a pup-approved taste that will satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. The overall amount of Jinx Salmon Kibble that your dog needs to eat everyday depends on their age, weight, breed, size, and activity level. We recommend splitting it into two main meals — one in the morning, and one in the evening.

As with any new food, you should introduce salmon dry dog food gradually so that your pup has time to adjust to their new diet. We recommend starting by replacing a small amount of your dog’s current food with Jinx Salmon Kibble, then gradually increasing this amount each day over a period of two weeks until your pup’s diet is completely switched over. If your dog has a sensitive stomach, consider extending the transition period to about 4 weeks.
